| By Plane Santander airport located at 5 km far away from the center of the city, connected with a line of buses that leave you at the city, with daily flights to the cities of Madrid and Barcelona. In order to make an reserve you can use the following companies: The Bilbao airport ( Sondika ) has some international connections (London, Milano, Frankfurt, Brussels, Paris) and is located at 60 minutes driving distance from Santander. The bus company serving the route Bilbao-Santander is Turytrans (phone in Santander: 942.22.16.85 or 942.22.65.08 and in Bilbao 944.21.03.63) ). If you arrive to Sondika airport, you must take a taxi to the Turytrans- downtown Bilbao stop (Plaza Amezola). By car In order to arrive in car it calculates your route with: By Bus By train From Madrid Airport you should go to Madrid-Chamartin, one of the downtown train stations.
